Experience Required:

 5+ years of dealership experience OR 8+ years in an independent shop.

Education Required:

 Formal training through dealership programs OR an Automotive College degree.

Certifications Required:

 All 8 core ASE certifications (Master Technician status).

Key Competency: Excellent,

 advanced diagnostic and troubleshooting capabilities.

Mid-level

 certified specialist capable of handling complex mechanical and electrical repairs.

Experience Required:

 2+ years of dealership experience OR 5+ years in an independent shop.

Education Required:

 Some dealership-level training OR completion of a college/high school automotive training program.

Certifications Required:

 Minimum of 2 current ASE certifications.

Junior

 technician transition tier focused on general repair work.

Experience Required:

 Completion of the 3DD Automotive Apprenticeship Program OR 3 years of experience in an independent shop or dealership.

Certifications Required:

 Must hold an ASE G1 certification and pass 1 ASE "A" test within the first 90 days.

(Testing costs are reimbursed after 120 days of employment).

Entry-level

 training position focused on foundational maintenance and shop operations.

Experience Required:

 Successful completion of a 2-year automotive training program OR equivalent.

Background Required:

 Positive, verifiable employment history.

Probationary Requirement:

 Must successfully complete the ASE G1 certification within the first 90 days. 

(Testing costs are reimbursed after 120 days of employment) and

 successfully complete all 3DD in-house coursework and in-person training.
